1. The short version
GoWinBet is a digital subscription. As soon as you start using the paid plan — running a single GoScore™ query, generating a GoPick, or receiving an automated alert — the value has been delivered, and we operate a no-refund policy on billing periods that have already started.
That said, we're not unreasonable. There are clear cases where a refund is fair and we issue one without argument: duplicate charges, prolonged outages, billing errors, and unauthorized payments. Those cases are detailed in section 4 below.
You can cancel anytime from your account dashboard. Cancellation prevents the next renewal — you keep full access until the end of the current billing period.
2. 14-day pre-use refund (voluntary)
Online digital subscriptions in North America are not subject to a general statutory "cooling-off" period — once a digital service has been delivered, the contract is generally final. We think that's a low bar, so we offer a more generous voluntary refund window.
If you have not yet used any paid feature and you are within 14 days of your first subscription, you can request a full refund by emailing contact@gowinbet.ai. We'll verify on our side that no AI output was returned to your account, then refund the full amount to your original payment method.
"Active use" is anything that returns AI-generated output to you — a GoScore query, a GoPick, a Risk Radar alert, a Team Health lookup, an API call. Once any of those have run on your account, the 14-day window no longer applies; cancellation is still possible at any time and stops the next renewal (see section 1).
Certain U.S. state and Canadian provincial consumer-protection laws may grant additional rights in narrow circumstances (e.g., long-term contracts, automatic renewal disclosures). Where they apply, we honor them in addition to the voluntary refund described here.
3. No refund once the subscription has been used
Once any feature of the paid plan has been used, no refund is issued for the current billing period. This applies to:
- Monthly subscriptions, in full
- Annual subscriptions — no pro-rata refund mid-year
- Plan upgrades — the upgrade fee is non-refundable as soon as the upgraded features are accessed
- One-off credit packs and add-ons
We've structured pricing so that the cheapest paid tier is genuinely affordable to test for one cycle. If you're not sure whether the product fits your needs, please use the public demo on the homepage before subscribing rather than relying on a refund afterwards.
4. Cases where we do refund
We will issue a full or partial refund — usually within 48 hours of the request — in the following cases:
- Duplicate charge. Two or more charges for the same billing period because of a payment-system glitch on our side. We'll refund the duplicates in full.
- Service outage. A documented incident where core features (GoScore, GoPick, the Live AI Scanner, or the API) were unavailable for more than 72 consecutive hours during your billing period. We'll issue either a credit equivalent to the affected days or a refund of those days, your choice.
- Unauthorized payment. Your card was charged because someone else accessed your account or your card details. Report it to your bank immediately, then send us a note at support@gowinbet.ai so we can secure the account and investigate.
- Billing error. You were charged the wrong amount because a price was displayed incorrectly on our side. We refund the difference, and we honor the price you saw at checkout.
- Promised feature missing. If a feature explicitly listed on your plan's pricing card on the day you subscribed has not been delivered within 60 days, you can request a pro-rata refund for the unused portion.
5. Affiliate commissions and refunds
If a refunded transaction had previously generated an affiliate commission, that commission is automatically reversed from the referring affiliate's balance — see the Affiliate Program page for the full terms. Reversals only affect commissions that have not yet been paid out; once a payout has cleared (after the 30-day lock-in window), it stays with the affiliate even if the underlying customer is later refunded.
6. Chargebacks
Before you initiate a chargeback with your bank or card provider, please get in touch — contact@gowinbet.ai. We almost always resolve billing disputes within 48 hours, and a direct refund is faster for you than a chargeback dispute.
Chargebacks initiated without first contacting us — especially when a duplicate charge or outage refund would have resolved the issue more quickly — may result in suspension of the account and a permanent ban from the service. Chargeback fees passed on by the payment processor are not refunded.
7. How to request a refund
- Email contact@gowinbet.ai from the address registered on your GoWinBet account (this lets us verify identity quickly).
- Include the invoice or receipt number, the reason for the request, and any supporting context (a screenshot of the duplicate charge, the timeframe of the outage, etc.).
- We review and respond within 3 business days. Most cases resolve in 24-48 hours.
- If approved, the refund is issued to the original payment method. Card refunds typically appear within 5-10 business days, depending on the issuing bank; ACH/Interac bank transfers within 3-5 business days; PayPal within 24 hours.
8. Free demo, free tier
We don't run a time-limited free trial of the paid plan. Instead, the homepage and AI Studio offer a fully interactive demo, and our free tier remains free indefinitely with a daily query allowance — both designed to let you evaluate the product without billing risk.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Refund Policy as our pricing and product change. New rules apply only to subscriptions purchased after the effective date of the update; subscriptions started under a previous version remain governed by that version until they renew.
