Why we started this
We started GoWinBet after watching too many smart people lose money on sports they actually understood. The pattern was always the same — a friend pulls up a betting app at half-time, picks a parlay because the odds feel right, and an hour later he's ten percent down without ever opening a stats page.
Meanwhile the bookmaker has 30 quant analysts, real-time injury feeds, and a model that prices every line to the cent. The asymmetry isn't slightly unfair — it's structural. So we asked: what if a regular bettor could borrow that same toolkit, just for the questions that actually matter?
That's the product. Not a tipster service. Not a "lock of the day" subscription. An analyst that runs the numbers, flags the bets that don't survive scrutiny, and stays quiet on the rest.
What we believe
Three principles drive every decision in the product:
- The smartest bet is often the one you don't take. Most betting apps push you toward more bets. Ours is the only one that proudly says "skip this match" — because protecting your bankroll is what actually compounds.
- AI assists, you decide. We never auto-place bets, never sell "guaranteed wins," and never inflate confidence scores. The model says what it sees; you decide what to do with it.
- Transparency over hype. Every GoScore™ shows the underlying signals — injuries, form, market drift, weather, ref tendencies. If we can't show you why, we don't show you the score.
How we're different
No tipsters, no human picks
Every output you see comes from the same model running on the same data, every time. No "expert" mood, no Tuesday-night hot streak, no editorial bias. Reproducible by design.
Honest about misses
Every model is wrong sometimes. We publish actual hit-rates by league and confidence band — not the cherry-picked ones. If a bucket calibrates poorly, you'll see it in the dashboard, not buried in a footnote.
No bookmaker affiliation
We don't take referral fees from bookmakers. That's a hard line. It means the AI has zero incentive to push you toward more bets — only toward better ones, or none at all.
Privacy-first by default
Built in Europe, GDPR-compliant from day one. No advertising trackers, no third-party data sales, cookieless analytics. Your watchlist is yours — bookmakers never see it.
Who's behind it
We're a small distributed team — a handful of engineers, a data scientist who used to model derivatives, and a product designer who lost too much on a single Champions League final and decided to do something about it. We don't have a marketing department. We don't have a tipster YouTube channel. We sit in front of CSV files and ship features.
We're based primarily in North America with a couple of contributors across the Atlantic. The product is built in TypeScript, the models in Python, and the philosophy in plain English: respect the bettor's intelligence, never their wallet.
Where we're going
Right now GoWinBet is deliberately focused on the two sports where our models are sharpest: football (soccer) and tennis. That means deep coverage of the competitions that matter most — the Premier League, La Liga, Bundesliga, Serie A and Ligue 1, alongside the ATP and WTA tours. We'd rather be genuinely excellent at a focused set of sports than spread thin and mediocre across dozens.
More sports are firmly on the roadmap. Basketball, American football, hockey and others are coming — we're building and back-testing the data models for them now, and we'll switch each one on the moment it clears the same accuracy bar we hold our football and tennis models to. Every quarter we expand coverage based on user demand, and every quarter we publish what we shipped, what we got wrong, and what's next.
On the roadmap: deeper player-level prop modeling, a pre-match alert system that warns you before line movements, and native mobile apps for iOS and Android. Nothing earth-shaking — just steady improvements to the core promise: better data, calmer decisions, smaller losing streaks.
